POSITION FUNCTION & SCOPE
To support or lead gas sales strategy development and activities through promoting and implementing Air Products application technologies in water treatments, O3 related applications, waste incineration, combustion and other designated application technologies.
To commercialize new and existing industrial gas applications and services for Water segment and other designated Industry segments.
To use engineering principles to develop processes, carry out services, improve equipment design and perform other technical functions for Water segment and other designated Industry segments.
To lead internal function teams on application project execution and trouble shooting at customer sites through application technology knowledge and industry know-how for Water segment and other designated Industry segments.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.Meet with potential customers to: (a) present technology; (b) demonstrate economic viability; (c) structure general business parameters; and (d) recommend action plans.
2.Sign new business through identification and development of prospects, preparation of technical proposals, and participation in joint selling efforts with sales personnel.
3.To conduct start-ups in customers’ plants, collect data, evaluate and make changes to process parameters as required, and train customer operating personnel.
4.Maintain existing accounts through periodic contacts coordinated with field personnel and make recommendations for specific actions.
5.Coordinate with other personnel (such as Engineering, Customer station) to ensure proper specifications and timely installation of supply systems and equipment.
6.Plan and participate in market studies to provide information for expanded sales or market share or for justification of new or expanded production facilities.
7.Prepare technical papers, feature articles, and assist in developing brochures and other technical literature. Participate in trade shows. Conduct training and technical seminars for field sales personnel, prospects and customers.
8.Understand and implement proper safety procedures.
9.Complete the required work plans and reports in quality and quantity.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1.Bachelor or Master degree in either Environmental engineering or Chemical Engineering with qualified industry experience.
2.Minimum 3 years work experience in water industry.
3.Good command of spoken and written English.
4.Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
5.Sound business acumen is preferred.
6.Willing to travel.
