This position reports to the IT Manager of Analytics and Collaboration. The team is responsible for the execution of new solutions projects in the Business Intelligence and reporting discipline. The candidate will work closely with the internal business and functional clients to execute discrete projects so good communication skills are important. Assignments can vary from small application enhancements to very large integrated projects depending on business needs. Demand can come from any part of the business including Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, HR, etc. The candidate will work directly with business clients in all aspects of application development including conceptualization, design, execution, and support. The best candidate is energetic, drives for success, and is passionate about solving business problems by “showing the data” using modern data visualization tools.
The Air Products Business Intelligence (BI) environment is SAP centric with SAP BW 7.4 on HANA as the enterprise data warehouse, native HANA data marts, and a mature QlikView 11 platform with a newly added Qlik Sense 3.2 platform to support self-service and mobile data visualization solutions.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Work closely with business subject matter experts and analysts to understand business issues and enhancement requests
? Help business area clients to conceptualize and plan new apps and enhancements in Qlik to provide solutions
? Design, configure, code, test, and document new or modified applications, reports and programs according to plans
? Develop ETL processes and programs to support new solutions, use Qlik best practices for multi-tier QVD layers
? Create and automate Qlik Publisher and Tasks to support QVD and Application loads
? Develop QVD data models and data marts in support of applications and self-service
? Design and develop Qlik visualizations that promote understanding of data while complying with corporate standards
? Develop test cases and plans, and assist with testing of new solutions and enhancements, use enterprise standard tools, currently HP Quality Center.
? Transition/Land completed solutions to the IT BI Support team, provide all necessary documentation and knowledge transfer
? Coordinate and prioritize individual tasks and requests to ensure timely delivery, drive for results
? Follow prescribed development life cycle and meet all quality standards
? Provide escalation support (level 3) for the IT BI support team as needed
? Adhere to all Air Products IT development and release processes and procedures
                                                                                                                       
JOB REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology field or related technical discipline
? 4-6 years of experience working in IT Development or BI role
? 4 years of experience working with QlikView or Qlik Sense
? Effective analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills
? Strong oral and written communications skills in English
? Highly organized and dedicated with a positive attitude
? Knowledge in fundamental concepts and practices of Business Intelligence, data warehouse design, including multidimensional and relational reporting and analysis
? Knowledge of SAP BW/HANA data sources preferred
? Knowledge of MS SQL Server, MSAS, SSIS a plus
? Knowledge of SAP/ERP ECC functional areas FI, MM, PP, SD a plus
? Prior multicultural experience preferred
? Demonstrated track record of successful task and/or project delivery
? Experience working in a team-oriented, globally collaborative environment
